Monday evening’s match at Plymouth Argyle brings one of the most highly anticipated games of the season for Exeter City Football Club.
We know it’s a fixture which supporters have looked forward to since promotion was achieved in May and we hope that they enjoy the match day as the event it should be. We also have the added bonus of national TV coverage, a fantastic opportunity to show what incredible supporters we have.
We know that the majority of our supporters want to enjoy the match and represent the club in a positive manner and we are very grateful to the planning that both Plymouth Argyle and Devon and Cornwall Police have put in ahead of the match.
Our message to fans is, enjoy the game, create an amazing atmosphere, but do not do anything which will damage the club’s reputation and potentially leave you liable to criminal action.
Possession of pyrotechnics of any type is an offence and we will fully support both Plymouth Argyle and the police in taking retrospective action against any Exeter City supporter found in possession such items of such items.
Throughout the day we expect supporters to adhere to the standards they would expect a match at St James Park, this includes behaviour when travelling to and from the match, as well as whilst in the city of Plymouth.
We recommend that supporters arrive early and get to Home Park where facilities will be open up to two hours prior to kick off. Please enjoy the match, support your team and represent your club in a positive way on the day.
