Exeter City Women will make their longest journey of the season on Sunday as they travel to Maidenhead United for FA Women National League action.
The two teams met only a fortnight ago, with the Magpies visiting the Exwick Hub for a League Cup tie. After Connie Pengelly had opened the scoring, a brilliant strike from Megan Halfacree levelled the game. A Zoe Watkins penalty and second half Pengelly header was enough to ease City through to the next round.

Ed Jackson-Sankey's side have had a tough start to the season, starting belatedly and having lost their opening two league games against Cardiff City and Portishead. However, Sunday sees United at home for the first time and they will be looking to pick up their first league points at York Road.
Abbie Britton and Aaron Wakleyโs side go into the contest in confident mood, Sundayโs victory at St James Park over AFC Bournemouth was not only a great occasion but a significant three points against a talented side. With a midweek trip to Portishead coming up before a break for Cup action, the next week will be another important moment in the season, as the Grecians look to consolidate their place amongst the early pacesetters.
