Matt Taylor wants his side "confident and bright" on the weekend after his side slip to a late defeat at the hands of Shrewsbury Town.
Following the 3-2 loss to Salop the manager said:
"There was a lot to like about the performance today but you get what you deserve. We defended at moments today so uncharacteristically poorly. Really naive moments, especially when we were two-nil up. I don't want to criticise them too much though. We knew with the personnel we had on the pitch that physicality was going to be an issue tonight."
Cheick Diabate missed out through injury and the boss has given us an update on the defender's status.
"It's a stress fracture. It got to the point where the bone on the outside of the foot has cracked in the MK Dons game. Between 4-6 weeks is the best case scenario. Sam Stubbs' knee has been playing up again after the Accrington match."
In a frantic game, Taylor was honest of his players.
"Due to our own doing, but we can't feel sorry for ourselves. We needed to be tougher in those moments, that's why it hurts right now."
