Jay Stansfield has given his first interview since joining on loan from Fulham for the remainder of the 2022/23 League One season.
The 19-year-old, who is the son of former City striker Adam was Matt Taylor's final deadline day signing and adds to the attacking options within the squad.
"I am absolutely buzzing," Stansfield said.
"This is the perfect opportunity for me to come and develop as a player, get some game time and gain some experience. I'm so ready to come and play.
"Matt Taylor is a superb manager and the style of football he wants to play, and the way he carries himself on a day to day basis in training is something that I wanted to go in and learn from.
"It means a lot to be wearing number nine. I know the pressure will be high, but it felt the right thing to do. I will be proud to wear it and follow in his footsteps and beyond."
