📝 Please show your support in the right way on Saturday

This Saturday’s match against Plymouth Argyle brings one of the most highly anticipated games of the season at St James Park.

We know it’s a game which supporters have looked forward to since the fixtures were announced, and we want to ensure everyone attending can enjoy the match for the event that it should be.

Every week at St James Park our supporters create an amazing atmosphere – there’s nothing quite like the sound of the Big Bank in full voice, or the incredible roar of the crowd as the ball hits the back of the net!

But we urge you to ensure that your support, and particularly chanting, is appropriate. Help us to be proud of our club, our community and our supporters.

In addition, can we remind all supporters that possession of pyrotechnics of any type is an offence and we will fully support the police in taking action against anyone found in possession of such items. Do not do anything which will damage the club’s reputation and potentially leave you liable to criminal action.

Please enjoy the match, support your team and represent your club in a positive way at what promises to be a fantastic match. We are proud of our unique football club and you, our fans, are at the heart of it. Help us to be the best that we can be, ensuring SJP remains a welcoming place for all football fans.
