Gary Caldwell has given his reaction as City suffered a 1-0 defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the second Devon Derby of the season.
Matt Butcher's deflected strike was the difference, though Caldwell felt City were the better team for most of the game and is stung by the defeat.
"It hurts, but to lose to your biggest rivals is devastating," he said.
"I thought we were the better team, we gave it everything, but there were snmall details and we were naive at times. We have to get better at the fine arts of the game and that's the lesson we take. We don't get this back and we have to learn from it for Tuesday.
"To be a successful team you need to find a way to win. I don't think there's a moment in the game where we were under pressure. They came here to score one goal and nick a win, and that's what they did.
"if you score an early goal, they would've had to come out and play a different gane, so we have to take our chances."
