Harry Kite has given his thoughts after the Grecians lost on home turf to rivals Plymouth Argyle.
The academy graduate played 75 minutes in a hard-fought battle between the two Devon sides, with the away side winning the game after a deflected finish from Matt Butcher being the only difference between the sides.
“I would say for the majority of the game the performance was really good but switching off from a set piece which we knew would be a threat of theirs has cost us.
“I think we always back ourselves at home, we won three in a row before the Bolton game and our home form over the last couple of seasons has always been good so we always back ourselves at home.
“Regardless of where they are in the table, especially in a derby game as well, I think form goes out the window".
