Jay Stansfield has been nominated for the EFL Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for March after a superb month for the Grecians.
Nominating, the EFL said: "Playing as a wide striker, Stansfield’s stamina in tormenting defenders for 90 minutes is staggering in one so young. It is intelligent running run, too, which he supplemented with two goals and three more direct goal involvements."
Stanno scored two goals in February - one against Accrington Stanley in front of the Big Bank, and another against Barnsley, as well as providing three goal involvements during the month. He set up James Scott and Harry Kite for their strikes in the same pair of matches.
Jay also won the EFL Young Player of the Month for October 2022, and is in the running for the club's Goal of the Month for March.
Jay is up against Cheltenham's Alfie May, Ipswich goalkeeper Christian Walton, and Peterborough's Joe Ward.
