😊 Matchday Family Fun: Reading

St James Park has plenty on offer pre-matched to keep the whole family entertained and to make sure your St James Park experience is extra special.

Just take a look at what is available below...

Every year the EFL send a 'Mystery Family' to SJP to assess how we look after families and supporters in general. Our track record is very good. Last season the Mystery Family report was very favourable about the SJP Experience you receive. Awarding us one of their 12 coveted Gold Awards for the third year running. Overall we finished second in League One and third in the whole EFL!

The first visits for this season begin at random EFL grounds this afternoon. With all the first visits due to be completed by December. If you spot anything wrong or that needs improving please let us know by email to customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk

Getting to SJP
On match days (EX4 6PX – visiting fans EX4 6PU) it cannot be easier.

BUS: Local buses drop off in York Road, Pennsylvania Road, Prince Charles Road, Union Road, Sidwell Street , Old Tiverton Road and Pinhoe Road. All less than a minute from the Stadium. The current maximum fare in Devon  is £2 for a single journey.

RAIL: regrettably, on Saturday,  there are no GWR services from Exeter St Davids direct to SJP due to the prevailing industrial dispute.  Taxis are available from the station concourse and the cost varies between £7 and £10 (depending on traffic). Buses are also available (£2 maximum single fare) and alternatively a pleasant walk to SJP (once you get past the initial challenge of St David’s Hil) the stadiuml is under 1 mile (25 minutes).

DRIVING: Why not use Park & Ride offering free parking and cheap family tickets (up to 5 persons)? City Centre car parks will be busy but available. Resident  parking schemes are widespread but further out street parking is available for considerate use.

CYCLING: the healthy and environment friendly option! Racks are available for your use at the stadium and throughout Sidwell Street.

The first choice for families should be Block E in the Navada Construction stand.  This will allow half-time use of the Junior Grecian Zone. We have listened to families who prefer to stand to watch the match.  Allowing those with older children to move closer to the passion of the City heart. An overspill area has also been allocated in Block A in the Otimising IT Adam Stansfield Stand.
