Gary Caldwell has praised his side's second half comeback as they came from behind to beat League Two outfit Crawley Town.
Kyle Taylor and James Scott scored late on in the second half to survive a scare and secure safe passage to Round Two of the Carabao Cup.
"That was a really difficult game and we knew we couldn't underestimate Crawley, but I feel we did in the first half," Gary said.
"We were a bit flat and the press wasn't energetic, but in fairness to Crawley they played well. Our response after half-time was much better and we looked like the team from Saturday.
"We played on the front foot and aggressive football and deserved the win the game in the end. I said to the players at half time they can't win a football match if they don't run, they need to be prepared to run for the team and put people under pressure."
