To celebrate the milestone of an incredible twenty years of ownership of Exeter City, the Supporters’ Trust are hosting a special Sunday lunch on Sunday, September 3.

Join us for a two-course Sunday lunch as we look back and share memories of the last twenty years of Supporter ownership of Exeter City.
The event will see a special screening and the launch of the brand new Supporters Trust video and a look around the Exeter City museum.
No other Club has been a supporter owned member of the EFL for as long as Exeter City. The first Supporters’ Club was formed in 1912, with fan representation on the Board achieved from the early 1990s.
In the new millennium the voice of the supporters was increased with the formation of the Exeter City Supporters’ Trust in May 2000. In February 2003 Trust members voted to change their main objective from ‘support‘ to ’own’ the Club.
It was a timely decision, within 3 months the Club was in chaos - relegated from the Football League with key figures arrested. The Trust came to the rescue and in an historic move on September 4th 2003 the Trust bought the majority shareholding. ’We own our Football Club’ became the rallying call, and it still is!
Twenty years on the Club is still owned by its supporters - with 3 promotions, 4 trips to Wembley, Cup ties with Manchester United and Liverpool, a centenary visit to Brazil, stadium and training ground redevelopment, and a stunning array of young stars coming through our Academy.
It's an incredible story. To all our members we say a massive thank you and to everyone else we urge you to join today. Be part of shaping the next 20 years!
