City striker Sonny Cox has reflected on his loan spell at Yeovil Town as he returns to the Grecians' squad ahead of the trip to Cambridge United on Friday.
The 19-year-old scored twice in 11 appearances for the Glovers and gives credit to the Somerset outfit for aiding his development as a player.
"The game time has done me well, it's been a really good loan for me," Sonny reflected.
"There were four really good senior strikers at Yeovil that I learnt from and got to play with, and they taught me so much.
"Though I was pleased to come back, even if i was getting the game time. But you always want to play for your home town club and score goals, and that's what the manager has asked of me - to get in the team and stay in the team.
"There's a really good feeling about the place now and we really believe we can go on and get some wins over Christmas."
