Exeter City's no.1 Vil Sinisalo has said the Grecians will take huge confidence into Friday's clash with Portsmouth at St James Park.
The Grecians ended a 13 match run without a League win with a fine 1-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday afternoon, thanks to Sonny Cox's goal and Vil's penalty heroics at the death.
Speaking about the penalty save, Vil said: "Moments like that you dream about and it's like scoring a goal for your team. But it was a huge team effort.
"I did my research with the keepers and Kevin and luckily it paid off and I went the right way and saved it."
On Friday, City take on table topping Portsmouth and it will be another huge test, but Vil feels that the team just need to build on Tuesday's performance.
"It doesn't get any easier! We are looking forward to it after today. Why can't we go and replicate something similar to Tuesday and start looking up the league and not worry about the teams below us.
"It's a funny league, anyone can go anywhere and get points and beat anyone. If you are not on your game you will lose. I'm sure there will be a spring in our step after Tuesday's win so we can't wait!"
