Exeter City return to home action this Saturday when we welcome Charlton Athletic to St James Park.
After two away matches on the trot, it's back to home turf for the Grecians as we look to build on last weekend's 2-0 away win at MK Dons, thanks to Jevani Brown's brace. This will be Charlton's first league visit to EX4 since January 2012, though they did visit in 2017 for a League Cup tie, which the London side won 2-1.
They will want to get back to winning ways, having been beaten 2-1 at home to Bolton Wanderers live on Sky Sports at the Valley.
Gary Caldwell's Thoughts
"The pitch is in incredible condition which meant we could train on it," Gary said.
"There were a number of reasons. We went through some stuff with the players in a classroom environment that we can't do at the training ground, so we utilised the space at the stadium, but most importantly it was for the new players to get a feel for their new surroudnings and getting used to the pitch so they are ready for Saturday."
Turning attentions to Saturday's opponents, Caldwell expects a similar challenge to the one the Grecians faced last weekend.
"They play the same as MK Dons, a 4-3-3. They are a little more direct and with dangerous wide men, and we have to be prepared out of possession. I know their manager really well and he's made a big impact since he came in."

The Key Timings
Centre Spot Bar

Junior Grecians Zone
The Junior Grecians Zone is open to members from 12.30pm and open to all from 1.30pm with plenty of activities for all our young Grecian supporters.
In the Fan Zone, the bar and Kenniford Farm's van will also be open for refreshments and hot food.
Club Shop
The club shop is open from 12pm to 5pm on matchdays and is stocked with all three of City's kits for the 22/23 season as well as a range of training gear and pocket money items.

Jungle Path Kiosk
The kiosk on the Jungle Path will be selling pints of Thatchers Big Apple, cans of Thatchers Gold and bottle of Carlsberg, as well as all the usual half time snacks including pies, pasties and beverages.
