Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Cambridge United in the latest St James Park encounter.
Caldwell has emphasised the importance of bouncing back from a recent run of three defeats in four matches, and that his side must be alert to thr threats he feels the opponents possess.
"We need to have clarity on why didn't win [at Port Vale], which the players got after the game and we then reviewed it and the players have looked at their own clips," Gary said.
"We have refocused the players minds for the week ahead and what we have to do to tackle Cambridge. There is no negativity around the place, the players understand the position we are in and that there are details we have to improve on and get right, but once we get them right we will be a really dangerous team that can win consistently in this league.
"We've analysed Cambridge and know what we're up against. They are fighting for their lives so will be really difficult to break down, they're direct and look to play on the counter. We are prepared for the physical challenge."
