The Grecians head to Vale Park for the second time this season to take on Port Vale this Saturday.
After a 3-2 win in the FA Cup back in November - in torrential rain - City will travel up the M5 and M6 looking to pick up their first win in four matches and their fourth in six on the road.
Vale are in dire need of arresting their current run of form, having only won one of their last nine matches. They have also lost four of their last five at home.
Gary Caldwell's Thoughts
Vale Park was the site of Caldwell's first win as Grecians boss as Archie Collins' stunning stoppage time winner secured a 3-2 win to take us into the second round of the Emirates FA Cup in style, and Caldwell has fond memories of the contest.
"It was one of several crazy games at that moment, we could have lost, we could have won, but we came out on top that day," he said.
"We're in for another difficult game against them. They will fight and compete and we have to be ready to go up against that.
'They gave a big squad so they've got a lot of options to chop and change their personnel, but they're pretty set on how they play and it doesn't seem to have changed too much since the FA Cup game.
"We're pretty prepared and we known what we're going to face."
