Club shirt sponsor Carpetright continues to support grassroots sports clubs thanks to the We Win You Win competition.
Although the contest, which sees Carpetright donate £500 to a south west group every time that Exeter City win a match, had been due to end in December 2022, Carpetright generously extended it until the end of the season.
The three most recent winners, from victories over Bristol Rovers, Oxford United and MK Dons, who will all benefit from a donation of £500, are:
- Fremington U15s who will use the funds towards securing time on 3G pitches to enable the team to play more games.
- Whimple FC who intend to use the donation towards replacing their old goals, which are more than 25 years old, with mobile full size goals. The club is also taking on a new piece of land, for which it needs small freestanding goals.
- Mid Devon Ladies Walking Football, which has a diverse group of players aged from 28 to 70 years old, will use the funds to buy kit and to contribute to a hardship fund to help those who can’t afford day to day costs be able to play football.
Applications to the We Win You Win competition can be made every time that Exeter City win a match. Teams can apply for the fund by sending a pitch to Carpetright, explaining who they are and why they deserve help.
