📝 Match Preview: Oxford United (A)

City will be looking to build on Thursday epic win at Bristol Rovers when they head to the Kassam Stadium to face Oxford United on New Year's Day.

After a mesmerising and memorable 2022, the Grecians will want to start 2023 by reversing a bad run against the Yellows that has seen us winless in the league against United since September 2012.

The stunning last minute 4-3 win at Bristol Rovers on Thursday will stand them in good stead, though the home side were also victorious as they beat Chartlon Athletic 3-1 in from of their own fans.

Archie Collins' Preview

"Every game in this league is difficult so going into the game with a win and a draw, we've got to go there and implement our game," he said.

"When we turn up and do our thing we're as good as anyone, we've already shown that so we've got to keep believing in ourselves.

"Football is always about on the day - we forget about the last two games against them."
