Gary Caldwell was proud of his battling City side after 3-0 win on a rainy Tuesday night over tough tackling National League South outfit Taunton Town.
"I think every game we've had has been difficult in different ways, I think tonight was another difficult test for the team, I thought you could see our team coming together. I thought we had moments of real quality, I thought we had speed and more intensity in our play and probably could have scored more goals tonight.
in regards to the new signings, "Delighted with everyone, I think everyone is giving 100%, I think we have moments tonight where the speed in the team and the direct play when we had it was really good. We need more of that, but yeah Dion, Deme, Nombe there was one action in the second half where the speed and the intensity was phenomenal.
Speaking on trialist Tom Carroll and how he is getting on, "I thought he was outstanding tonight, he's quality, his understanding of the role we're asking him to play. He's only been in a few days, but he takes information on and he can put that onto the pitch".
