Latest signing, Jack Aitchison in enthusiastic about getting going on day one as a Grecian.
The 23-year-old, who joins on a two-year contract having departed Motherwell in Scotland is Gary Caldwell's second summer signing and links up with former teammates James Scott and Kyle Taylor.
"I'm delighted to be here after such a long drive and I can't wait to get started," Jack said.
"I feel like I've got a point to prove at this level. The way the gaffer works, I really think I'll fit into the system. I liked the way the attacking players worked last season, and I've sat down Gary and discussed how he plays and how I can score goals in this team.
"It's all happened very quickly, but as soon as I spoke to the manager I knew I wanted to sign. It's a club that already feels a little like home - I know James [Scott] from youth level, and Kyle [Taylor] from Forest Green so I feel at home straight away.
"When I spoke with the manager, I knew straight away I'd fit into this team."
