We are delighted to announce our new front of shirt sponsor – Exeter-based HEL Performance.
The pioneering manufacturer and distributor of race-winning braking products and services for motorcycle riders and drivers, will see its brand emblazoned across Exeter City men’s and women’s team shirts and on all replica shirts from the 2023/24 season in the three-year deal.
Nick Hawker, chair of Exeter City Football Club board, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome HEL Performance to the Exeter City family. They are a hugely successful company and are rightly proud to be Exeter based and ‘made in Devon’ and we are so pleased to be working in partnership with them.
“Our shared values, of community and pride in our city mean there is already a genuine connection and we’re looking forward to the next stage of our journey, with HEL alongside us.”
Matthew Dawes, commercial manager at Exeter City Football Club, added: “We’re really proud to have signed HEL Performance as our main sponsor, working with a local company with a global reach is fantastic for our club.”
HEL Performance which is based on the Tedburn Road at Whitestone, manufactures braking products for the automotive industry, machining all of its mainline stainless steel and aluminium products on its own machines.
It distributes its products to around 90 countries worldwide and its stainless steel brake lines are used in Moto GP and World Super Bikes. Its brake calipers, master cylinders and thumb brakes are all used in British Super Bikes.
Simon Lane, chief executive of HEL Performance, said: “We feel very fortunate to be sponsoring Exeter City Football Club; there is a real synergy between our organisations. We are an Exeter-based company and we sell all around the world, but it is important to us that people know we are from Exeter, from Devon. We are very proud of that fact and we feel this sponsorship is the perfect way to demonstrate that.
“We are passionate about what we do in the same way Exeter City and all of its supporters are passionate about the club.”
Simon added: “The biggest part of our sponsorship of Exeter City is that community aspect. Owned by the fans, and the Supporters’ Trust behind it, which pushes it into a place where few other football clubs exist.
“The new shirt is absolutely perfect, it really demonstrates the pride in Exeter City and in HEL Performance. We’re so proud of what we and of what Exeter City have already achieved and what we can do in the future together.”
