😃 Matchday Family Fun: Barnsley

St James Park has plenty on offer pre-matched to keep the whole family entertained and to make sure your St James Park experience is extra special.

Getting to SJP

Getting to SJP on match days (EX4 6PX – visiting fans EX4 6PU) cannot be easier – even for an evening match.  Parking in a largely residential area can be more restricted.  The good news is that most car parks are free after 6pm. Please remember to read the signage, however.  As an example, one of the most convenient car parks, King William Street, locks up at 9pm and should be avoided.  Another in Summerland Street has a charge.

This will also be the last opportunity to benefit from the Stagecoach maximum single fare. Stage coach buses drop off around the stadium in Sidwell Street , Old Tiverton Road. Pinhoe Road Pennsylvania Road and Union Road. All less than a minute from the Stadium.

It is the normal  train services from St David’s direct to St James Park Exeter (Paignton-Exmouth Service.  Connection times pre-match are 17:15; 17:39: 18:18, 18:46; 19:13.  Returns to St Davids 21:51 9no post match drink and a dash) or with time for a pint 22:23 and 22:50.

Cycling to the Park offers bike stands at the ground or nearby in Sidwell Street.

As there are fewer children supporting an evening in-term fixture some activities are reduced. But there is enough going on pre-match to keep the whole family entertained and to make sure your St James Park experience is special.

Just take a look at what is available below...

Academy Parade

On Tuesday evening we welcome the players, coaches and sponsors of our highly rated Academy.  The players take their usual half-term parade around the pitch.  Can you spot the next Ethan or Ollie?  Our grateful thanks are extended to the many sponsors who make the extra facility possible.
