📝 Match Preview: Wycombe Wanderers (A)

Exeter City make their first trip to Adams Park in five years this weekend, as they take on Wycombe Wanderers.

Looking to build on last Saturday's 2-0 victory over Cambridge United, City head to the Buckinghamshire side who will have Matt Bloomfield in the home dugout for the first time following Gareth Ainsworth's departure for QPR last week.

In their first match under Bloomfield, Wanderers were beaten 2-0 at Shrewsbury Town but his homecoming at Adams Park will likely attract a bositerous home crowd on what the home side are dedicating as their Family Day.

Gary Caldwell's Thoughts

"This will be a really difficult game," Caldwell said ahead of the match.

"They have had a culture and environment at that football club for a long period of time that is they will compete with absolutely anyone, they will put bodies on the line and work hard. We have to match that and go beyond.

"No matter what style of football you have a team, you have to bring that as a team and like I said, we have to match that and go better than that. We have to have bravery and get the ball down and play, but make no mistake we know that we will be in for a really tough physical football and we have to be ready for that."
