We begin by rolling back to August, as we kicked off our first League One season in ten years.
- City kick off the season with a 1-1 draw at Lincoln City, with Sam Nombe scoring the Grecians’ opening goal of the season.
- Harry Kite scores the goal of the season – a luscious volley from the edge of the box – as we demolish Port Vale in our first home game of the campaign.
- Records toppled as City beat Cheltenham Town 7-0 away from home in the first round of the Carabao Cup. It was our biggest ever away win, biggest ever League Cup win, our biggest win since 1935 and the first time we’ve ever scored seven goals away from home.
