Our first season back in the third tier after ten years away has certainly been one to remember with some incredible memories made. As we wave goodbye to the campaign for the 2022/23 season and look ahead to the next, now is the perfect time to take a look back at what has certainly been a rollercoaster season.
2023 with a flurry of new signings throughout the month, while the lads also picked up two more fantastic wins on the road.
- 2023 began the way 2022 ended – with a win. Making up for a 4-1 drubbing at the same ground in the FA Second Round, Nombe’s sole goal recorded a 1-0 win at Oxford United. It was a second away league win on the spin.
- Jevani Brown is on the scoresheet twice as we win 2-0 away at MK Dons.
- Demetri Mitchell is among six January signings to SJP. Gary Caldwell put his first stamp on his new side, also bringing in Gary Woods, James Scott, Kevin McDonald, Will Aimson and Joe White.
