To mark the recently celebrated 20 years of Trust ownership, Dr David Treharne will be giving a first-hand account of what was involved in getting the organisation up and running and onto a steady footing.
Well known around St James Park, David was a member of a relatively small group of fans who fought to save the Grecians and became Chair of the club from 2003 to 2006.
This was obviously a very difficult time for the club in the early days as it grappled with the debts incurred by the previous owners and regular visits from bailiffs. He will recount those times in conversation with Martin Weiler, as well as giving his thoughts on how the Trust has managed to develop into a truly fans owned club whilst a few others have failed or changed their ownership method along the way.
There will be plenty to think about and appreciate, so please come along to the Centre Spot on Wednesday, November 15. Doors open at 1pm for a 2pm start. One not to miss.
This session is open to ALL supporters and interested parties, and has been organised by the Senior Reds.
