Tuesday night's clash with Shrewsbury Town is our last scheduled home evening match of 2023.
In a strange sort of coincidence the year started with a 0-0 draw under the lights against... you guessed it, Shrewsbury Town! The first of 9 evening matches since the turn of the year. Your Grecians winning 4, boosted by a winning draw (Stevenage) and of course the 0-0 opener with the Shrews. The highlights being a storming 3-1 victory over Barnsley and the most memorable has to be the Carabao Cup victory over Luton Town!
On Tuesday both teams will be hoping to go one better than in January...

Tickets on line all day but the £2/£1advance discount is no longer available after Monday.
9:30am – Club Shop opens until the last customer leaves post-match. Youngsters can enter a guess the time of the first goal to win a £20 voucher (no purchase necessary).
5pm - Bars start to open on a staggered basis beginning with the Centre Spot.
5pm -Ticket offices (City supporters – Fan Zone, Shrews – St James Road) open for collections and ticket sales.
5:45pm - Players start to arrive and are happy to sign autographs or pose for selfies. Why not tweet your picture to #SemperFidelis or our other social media platforms.
6pm - Junior Grecians Zone opens for members. Face painting available
6:15pm – Information Point and Academy stall open in the Fan Zone. Your meet and greet Ambassador team are available for help and directions.
6:30pm Subject to weather it’s the return of Play Your Cards Right. Prizes include shirt of your choice, footballs, EAFC 24 games and t-shirts for adults. OR your chance to use the “City Board” for family pics which you can tweet to #SemperFidelis.
6:45pm - Turnstiles (including Optimising IT Adam Stansfield) open (Red and Fed Kiosks available).
6:50pm – Teams announced by rival supporters in your Fan Zone
7pm – Playing staff meet and greet in the Club Shop.
7:25pm – Guard of Honour take to the field.
7:45pm - The Big Kick Off. Enjoy the match.
Half-time – Red & Fed kiosks open, temporary bars (behind away terrace and for Big Bankers in the Jungle Path). Optimising IT Adam Stansfield stand under croft TVs (result service) kiosks and 'Strikers' bar. Junior Grecian Zone (kiosk available), Club Shop, Fan Zone and Centre Spot open to home supporters in the Navada Construction Main Stand.
Final Whistle – why rush away. Sky Sports results and goals in the Centre Spot and the closing stages of late kick-offs. Some pints reduced to £3.75. Shop will close when the last customer has been served.
Your Match Day at a Glance. Trains from St James Park (Exeter) station from 21:51 to mainline St David’s and 21:58 to Exmouth.
Getting to SJP
Getting to SJP on match days (EX4 6PX – visiting fans EX4 6PU) cannot be easier for you.
BUS: Local buses drop off in York Road, Pennsylvania Road, Prince Charles Road, Union Road, Sidwell Street , Old Tiverton Road and Pinhoe Road. All around the Stadium and less than a minute from the Stadium. Maximum fare still £2 single journey. Just a few yards further and you will find the bus station which receives county and national services.
RAIL: Return fare from St David’s maximum £2.60 and free if you are travelling from further away and book through to “St James Park (Exeter) station”. With trains from mainline St David’s at St James Park. Departures for St David’s 16:49; 17:15; 17:39; 18:18; 18:47 and 19:13. With returns from 21:51.
DRIVING: No traffic issues anticipated. Why not use Park & Ride? City Centre car parks will be much quieter than normal. Please read boards as some are free after 6pm. And others, like the local King William Street, stay open longer on evening match days. Greatly reduced on street parking available for sensible parkers.
CYCLING: racks are available for you at the stadium and throughout Sidwell Street.
Club Shop
The shop runs its own FREE to enter match day competition for younger supporters. Predict the time of the first goal and the £20 shop voucher is yours.
Make your way to the Club Shop before or after the match. It is open all day and is the only way to obtain your official City souvenirs and check out what’s new or any special offers. Pocket money items are also available. And remember if you are a member of the Trust or Junior Grecians there is a 10% in store discount (Excl. match programmes and reduced/sale items). https://shop.exetercityfc.com.
First time visitors
First time Supporters can pick up a Welcome sheet at the Academy stall that defines all you need to know about your local Club. If it is your first visit please let us know by emailing customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk and we will endeavour to make it memorable for you.
Your Ambassador Team are located at entrance points and immediately inside the stadium and will be happy to assist you with directions or answer questions. For children hey will have a big match bingo card.
Head for the Fan Zone Academy Stall or Information Point by 6:15pm to join our brief Familiarisation/Induction Tour with a picture opportunity and a certificate for youngsters. The ideal pre-courser to the full, highly regarded and free match day Stadium Tour. First Time visitors can also register for free entry in a draw for a signed match ball at end of season.
Youngsters will also receive a certificate celebrating their first match.
Announce the City team or Join the Guard of Honour
If you have the drive and feel you can get supporters cheering you can announce the City team in the Fan Zone. Just turn up at the Information Point.
Want to be on the pitch as the players enter SJP? Then be part of the flag waving, Guard of Honour!
The Guard of Honour for Tuesday has 8 vacancies. If your child would like to be part of the flag waving team welcoming the players and officials onto the pitch on Saturday or at a future game please email customerservices@exetercityfc.co.uk. Children taking part part not only get on the pitch but also receive a certificate of participation and a chocolate Advent calendar.
Locally Sourced Hot Snacks
Kenniford Farm will be providing their usual local produced pre-match fare (including chips) from noon and will also be open at half-time for users of the Nevada Construction stand.
Inside the Stadium the kiosks have a range of food, confectionary and drinks available. New for this season the Wrestlers Hot Dogs seem to be a popular buy. If you are in the Navada Construction stand please remember that the JG Zone is open for all at half-time and also has a kiosk. Giving you the opportunity to catch the half time results on their screen while you much your pasty or drink your coffee.
Information Point
The information Point is the ideal meeting place and will have programmes (home and away) and team sheets available for a donation to the Academy.
Trust Queries & Membership Applications Ticket Booth
There is now a dedicated Trust window at the Ticket Booth in the Fan Zone. The Trust Membership secretary will be pleased to meet prospective new members who want to be a part of the Club or those who want to find out about all the work the Trust does and benefits of becoming a member. He will also have 20th Anniversary badges and pens available.
Junior Grecians Lounge
The Junior Grecians are the Official Junior Supporters Club of Exeter City FC. New this season is face painting back after Covid by popular demand.

The room provides a safe comfortable environment for families to enjoy pre-match entertainment, such as a large screen TVs, PlayStation consoles and Table Football, as well as the option to enjoy refreshments from the Zone’s very own kiosk. The family room also has a volunteer providing face painting to 'show your colours'. Opening for all from 6pm!
Bars
You are spoilt for choice! The Fan Zone has its own bar area. Leading off from the Fan Zone is the Centre Spot bar which also houses the Famous Exeter City Real Ale & Cider Emporium. On the other side of the Stadium you will find the Optimising IT Adam Stansfield stand under croft bar. Post match some pints are discounted in these bars.
Other bars are the Trust Suite for our Hospitality Guests. The Legends Lounge for guests of our Match, Ball and Programme Sponsors. Finally the Heritage Lounge for Members.
In the stadium the Big Bank has a half-time break-out bar.
Autism
To further the football club’s commitment to making matchdays inclusive to all, please remember Exeter City have some Autism packs available. Please ask at the Information Point.
Soccer Sight
Headsets are readily available for supporters to collect from reception or the ticket office ahead of kick-off. To book one in advance, please contact reception on 01392 411 243 or by emailing reception@ecfc.co.uk.
Extra Assistance? We Care
Disabled Supporters Association has acquired some new wheelchair waterproofs. If you forget yours please ask a steward.
Autism packs are available to you including ear defenders. Please ask an Ambassador or go to the home ticket office.
