๐Ÿ† Exeter City staff recognised at national awards

Members of the Exeter City staff have had their hard work rewarded through nominations in two national awards.

The media team, which consists of Scott Palfrey, Craig Bratt and Zandie Thornton, recently achieved the accolade of finishing in the top ten out of all 72 teams in Best Football Club category in the Football Content Awards, hosted at Anfield.

And the clubโ€™s supporter liaison officer (SLO), Richard Knight, has been shortlisted for the SLO of the Year Award at the Football Supporters' Association Awards.

Richard, who has been involved with the club since 1965, is the first point of contact for both home and away supporters, ensuring everyone has a fantastic experience when they visit St James Park.

Carrie Gillam, chief commercial officer at Exeter City Football Club, said: โ€œWeโ€™re so proud of the achievement of our media team in being shortlisted for the Football Content Awards. They are a small team, who consistently punch above their weight in terms of the content they produce, keeping our supporters engaged with the club.

โ€œWeโ€™re also thrilled for Richard; this is a very well-deserved nomination for him. He works so hard for the club and has made a significant difference to many, many supporters over the years.โ€

Richard said: โ€œAlong with our superb media team, it is wonderful to see the work and genuine commitment we put in to supporter engagement rewarded by these external nominations."

The winner of the SLO of the Year award will be announced at the FSA annual awards dinner on December 4 at Nobu in London.
