Gary Caldwell has given another honest assessment after he was left frustrated by two key decisions in the second half of the 4-1 defeat to Charlton.
With the game at 1-1, Will Aimson was penalised for for a foul in the area before being sent off minutes later for a challenge on Alfie May.
"If it's a penalty for Charlton then it's a penalty for Vinny Harper in the first half. If he gives one, he has to give the other," Gary said.
"I think the sending off is a joke. Will has taken a heavy touch and he has toed the ball away and the attacker has bought one there and the ref has fallen into the trap. For me, it's never a red card. It wasn't reckless and he didn't go through the player.
"At that point it becomes difficult. Up until then we were right in the game and tonight those big decisions have cost us.
