Harry Kite was disappointed with the result but thankful for the support after City lost 3-2 to Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
In a game decided by a late penalty, Kite was disappointed as they came so close to getting through.
On the incredible support, Harry said, "all credit to the fans, they did their bit and we tried to do our bit. We just came up slightly short today."
Harry spoke about the quality of the opposition. "We knew they would probably have the territory and the possession of the ball, given they're a Championship side and the quality of players that they've got. I think we defended really well as a team, especially in the first half."
