The Grecians head to the capital on Tuesday night to take on Charlton Athletic at the Valley.
City will be looking to bounce back from back-to-back defeats in the League after Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Northampton Town at St James Park.
Chartlon come into the match on the back of Saturday's 0-0 draw away at Shrewsbury Town and currently sit in 15th place after a tough start to the season.
The Grecians will have Demetri Mitchell back from suspension after he sat out Saturday's fixture.
Gary Caldwell's thoughts
Speaking after Saturday's match with Northampton, City's manager said: "I'd like to see a reaction.
"We've got good people and good players in the changing room that will be hurting. We will come in on Sunday and recover and prepare and hopefully we will see a reaction on Tuesday. It will be a difficult team to pick as there are not a lot of players that can come out of Saturday's match with credit.
"The players have to be ready on Sunday and Monday to play against Charlton as we have to pick a team which is much more ready than it was against Northampton.
"We are hopeful Caleb Watts will return and we will have Demetri Mitchell back which gives us competition for places."
