Millenic Alli has given his reaction after his first EFL goal helped to extend City's unbeaten run to seven games.
Alli calmly headed in at the back post to halve the defecit in the 88th minute before Will Aimson's equaliser earned City a point four minutes later. On scoring his first goal in the EFL, Alli said, "it was a very proud moment to be honest, I want to thank God, it was an opportunity coming and the boys worked hard, the opportunity came and I took it."
The result in this game and across the grounds meant that City have now mathematically secured their spot in League One next season. Alli explained that, "yeah of course [we were aware of that going into this game], we're now looking forward to seeing the season through as strong as possible, and then taking next season as it comes and try to really push and show what we can do!"
On Alli's personal goals for the remainder of the season, he simply stated, "play as much as possible, score as many goals as possible and set a high standard for next season."
