📝 Match Preview: Northampton Town (A)

Exeter City are back on the road for one final time this Saturday to take on Northampton Town in a 2pm kick-off at Sixfields Stadium.

City come into the match on the back of an eight match unbeaten run and will be full of confidence after Saturday's fine 4-2 win over Port Vale after being 2-0 down at half-time.

The Grecians know that a win on Saturday would see them leapfrog their opponents in the table so a big three points are up for grabs against a side that have had a fantastic start to life back in League One.

Gary Caldwell's thoughts

"We want a top half finish and while there is nothing to play for us in terms of promotion or relegations, the motivation has to be different and come from within.

"What we want to be is a team that is repsected in this division. What we are and where we've come from shows the progress we have made this season."
