Saturday's captain, Will Aimson, has given his reaction as his 5th goal of the season sealed a sensational ten-man away win at Northampton Town.
After Luke Harris opened the scoring, Ryan Woods saw red and Jon Guthrie equalised for the hosts, but the skipper stepped up in the final ten minutes to hammer home the winner for City's 10th away league win of the season.
"To keep the unbeaten run going was the main focus. It's easy to say in these moments that you are safe and have nothing to play for, but we definitely do as we want to finish the season as strong as we possibly can," Will said.
"It was a gutsy performance from everyone and we are really pleased with that. At half-time it was a case of calming everyone down - we've been in this situation before.
"We had to be brave and play our way and to a man, the boys that came on too, it was a brilliant display. It would have been easy to fold."
