Following City's 0-0 stalemate away at Lincoln City, Angus MacDonald shared his immediate reaction.
That result made it six unbeaten for the Grecians, with four clean sheets nestled in that run, and Angus stated while he was happy with the point, being denied all three at the end did sting.
"Overall pleased with that, it's a positive to get another clean sheet," said the centre-back. "From the front all the way through we defended excellently, it's a shame not to knick all three points."
The referee ruled out Jack McMillan's late goal for a handball allegedly from Angus, however he wasn't sure about the decision.
"Massively frustrating. It has hit my hand but my hand is below my waist but what can I do, it's just hit me? It's not like my hands are up in the air or where I think he should blow, but it's one of them days."
