Fresh off the back of scoring City's winner on the opening day of the season, Caleb Watts shared his thoughts on City's win against Rotherham.

Caleb's goal in the 71st minute, just 90 seconds after coming on, was the only difference between the sides at SJP, but City's number 17 was quick to stress that the squad are remaining grounded.

"I'm really pleased, the boys put in such a performance and to come in and cap it off was a perfect start to the season.

"We're buzzing but we're not getting carried away, we know it is still only one game and there's 45 more.

"To be where we want to be at the end of the season we need to put in performances better than that."

On the goal itself, Caleb saw some space at the back post to attack and thrust his whole body at the ball in an attempt to knock it over the goal-line.

"Just before the goal I was in at the back stick and the left-back didn't really track me."

"So I went a bit earlier and Johnly put in an unbelievable ball and I've just thrown my pelvis at it and it's gone in."
