Exeter City will celebrate Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign at this weekend’s Emirates FA Cup tie against Chesterfield.
While the Rainbow Laces is not an EFL campaign this year, the club will continue to support the cause, which aims to support LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport which has been running since 2013.. The club will also be supporting Football v Homophobia, in line with the EFL, in February.
Pairs of Rainbow Laces will be handed out on the day for supporters, players and staff, and rainbow corner flags will be in use for the fixture. There will also be messaging on social media and the big screen at SJP, and the captain will wear a rainbow armband.
