Dan Green on facing Crawley away

Dan Green pre Crawley Town

With a trip to Crawley coming up on Easter Monday, Dan Green previewed City's trip.

The Grecians know Crawley's threats, highlighted in December's 4-4 draw.

"I think they're in the top three, maybe second for possession in this league," said Dan. "So I think we'll see a team who are looking to make the pitch big, looking to create space with their rotations, the way that they look to play."

"We've been really consistent in the way that we look to prepare for every team, once they finish their game today we'll have that watch. We're already prepared based on their last few games and will be ready to go on Monday."

This week has seen fantastic achievements for two young players in Dan's PDP group, with Tom Dean earning a new contract, and Jake Richards nominated for EFL Apprentice of the Year, something Dan stated multiple people can take pride in.

"Fantastic for both them as young men, but also for their families, the academy coaches who have worked with them for a number of years, I'm sure there will be a lot of people who take great pride in the week that they've had. This week is an outcome of a season's worth of work that they do."
