PDP Coach Dan Green sat down to share his thoughts on what he believes will be City's toughest test yet in the Premier League Cup group stage.
"What we're really concentrating on is the performance levels we're trying to aspire towards and we'll have to be at our very best, Norwich will be a step up in terms of opposition," Dan said.
"They will be really difficult in many different ways to Bromley and we'll give them our full respect but we have to kick on and take another level up in terms of our individual performances in this game."
The competition also gives an opportunity for young players currently out on loan at local clubs to return to SJP and play for City during their spells away from the club, something which Dan believes only benefits their development.
"From a mentality point of view, it's important that they pull the badge on for Exeter City and play in these games and feel part of the club and feel like they're working towards something bigger than just one game," Dan explained.
"They're working towards something in their careers which can hopefully kickstart with Exeter City.
"We've been really fortunate over the years with the loan programme that we've put in place which has really helped some of these lads."
"But I don't think you can beat pulling on the shirt and playing in front of our fans at St James Park."
