With a trip to Wycombe Wanderers next up for City, First Team Coach Dan Green shared his thoughts on the Grecians' trip to Buckinghamshire.
Both teams go into the fixture off the back of interesting results, with City coming back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 with Crawley Town, while Wycombe lost in the league for the first time since August.
"With Wycombe, they've been an incredibly consistent outfit," Dan said. "They've got a strong squad, they're able to rotate and put different players in.
"I think it'll be another tough test but the game, when we played them here, also showed when we're at our very best, that's there's nothing for us to be afraid of."
The Grecians drew 2-2 with the Chairboys at the start of December, in an interesting encounter where City went 2-0 up against the league's in-form side before Wycombe brought the game back level.
"The biggest thing we can do now is recovering physically, emotionally, ready to ensure that we're at our very best when we go into that game."
