Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as his Exeter City side made it into the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time in 44 years with victory over Championship side Oxford United.
After falling behind, a brace from Demetri Mitchell saw the Grecians lead at half-time, with Vincent Harper adding a third in the second half to secure a history making win, and Gary was immensely proud of his side.
"It's a brilliant achievement by the players," Gary said, "Before the game I looked at some other things in 1981, (the last year City made the fourth round) the first computer came out, Only Fools and Horses started, Muhammad Alli had his last fight.
"I just wanted to show the players how long it was, just to give the players that feeling that this was a big day, opportunities like this in football don't come along often, and you have to grab and boy did we grab it."
