Gary Caldwell has given his views ahead of the Exeter City's home match against Northampton Town this weekend.
Looking to bounce-back from defeat at Charlton last week, the players have spent the last week at a warm weather camp in Spain in preparation for the match, and Caldwell has explained the benefits of the change in training location.
"With seven new signings it was a really good opportunity to speed up the process of building relationships and getting them away to a fantastic environment with brilliant pitches.
"The players now have to go and show how they have benefitted from it in the remaining matches this season. It was exactly the same in terms of training routine but we were with each other constantly and did different activities.
"There was a real energy about the lads in the canteen this morning which is fantastic to see, but they really have to go and show that on the pitch now."
