Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on table-topping Wycombe Wanderers at St James Park on Tuesday night.
Wycombe are flying in first place having won 11 matches in a row in all competitions, and it will be another test for Caldwell's men who have already faced second placed Birmingham and third placed Wrexham in the last two matches.
"From their form they are obviously confident, and they have a clear identity. They are getting the breaks at the moment which go got you when you are doing well."
"I saw them live at Stockport recently when they won 5-0 so I saw them at their very best and we know what their threats are.
"We have to be at our very best and as always focus on us, it's not about what they do but what we do. If we are at our very best we know we can cause them a lot of problems."
