Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts following Exeter City's thrilling 5-3 win over National League side Barnet in the Emirates FA Cup First Round at St James Park.
Two City goals in 12 minutes of second half stoppage time from Jay Bird and Kamari Doyle, plus a Josh Magennis hat-trick, secured victory, despite an almighty scare from the fifth-tier Bees.
"We knew in the build up they were a team that played good football, they liked to be expansive and we tried press aggressively, but we didn't get that right
"Some of our behaviours were not good enough and that is something that we will have to address next week, but it was a fantastic win nonetheless.
"When you're not playing well, it's really impressive to find the answers. The finishers were outstanding, and of course, so was Josh were his standards from the very beginning."
