Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Charlton Athletic away from home on Saturday, looking to make it two wins in a row in League One.
After a 1-0 win over Cambridge United and an incredible performance against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup, it has been a positive fortnight for the club and Caldwell says the team must now continue to take momentum with them for the final 16 matches of the league season.
"There's been a four day build up to get us prepared. The players were given a little break after what was a really demanding week, physically and mentally, so the training and preparation is now full steam ahead.
"Everyone has come back hungry and worked hard, and it has been really competitive in training, so now the focus is on the match."
