Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts as Exeter City put to bed the demons of last season's 7-0 defeat to Bolton by winning 2-0 at the same ground just nine months later.
Goals from EFL full-debutant Kamari Doyle and Millenic Alli silenced a packed Toughsheet Community Stadium as the Grecians secured their first away win of the season. Caldwell was thrilled with the three points.
"I still think we can be better and that will always be a mindset. In the second half, it's how we keep possession, but we have players coming back from injury. We need to have a fully fit squad to do what we want to do.
"To win away from home is never easy, so I'm delighted with the lads today but we have to follow that up now."
"We always talk about defending from the front and we did that superbly today."
