Following City's 1-0 win away at Leyton Orient on Tuesday night, Gary Caldwell gave his thoughts.

Amani Richards' first EFL goal secured the points for the Grecians, who clung on with ten men in the closing moments following Caleb Watts' dismissal for a late challenge.

"It's another clean sheet on the road, and a long road at that, so the players deserve a lot of credit for preparing properly."

"We scored a brilliant goal that gave us the lead. In the second half we didn't play as well as we could but we had our commitment to put bodies on the line.

"I thought Tristan Crama and Joe [Whitworth] were outstanding, Joe called upon when needed and pulled off some great saves.

"You need big characters to win football matches and that is what we have."
