Goalkeeper Harry Lee has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Bromley in the opening game of the Premier League Cup on Tuesday evening.
City head to Hayes Lane for the first of six group matches against the Ravens, Bristol City and Norwich City looking to be one of the top two sides who progress further into the competition.
"It’s a chance for the 23s to impress and play competitive games, so we are all really looking forward to it tonight."
“We don’t know too much about the opposition but we would expect them to be like their first team, so we know they will be physically and look for the long balls.
“It will be a good chance for the young lads and show everyone what we can do – there will different things in each game. A lot of us will have something to prove and we all can’t wait.”
