City forward Jay Bird has given his thoughts ahead of City's FA Cup tie against National League side Barnet on Saturday.
The 1931 Fund player scored his first goal in red and white on Tuesday in the Trophy win at Bristol Rovers and is looking forward to another cup match this weekend, hoping to accrue more minutes for the Grecians.
"I'm buzzing to get off the mark and do it on my first start is even better. It was so good to be out on the pitch."
"Looking at the weekend, Barnet are a good side, they are physical and strong, and that is why they are where they are in their league.
"I feel like we have to treat this like every other match and prepare properly, and do what we can to win."
