Exeter City midfielder Kevin McDonald has given his thoughts ahead of Tuesday night's trip to face Peterborough United.
With Tristan Crama leaving and Johnly Yfeko picking up an injury, Kev filled in at centre-back in Saturday's narrow defeat to league leaders Birmingham City, a position he has played in the past, and is comfortable filling in where needed.
"I've played in a four before at Fulham when I was a bit younger, said Kev. "The manager asked me to do a job at centre half and I felt fine doing it. We were positionally ok and dealt with it well. If I'm asked to do a job I'll go out and do the best I can."
City head to face a Peterborough side that have had a tough season so far, and currently sit in 19th place, but Kev feels it will prove a tough test.
"They are a good team, who have always had a good group of players come through with a mix of experience. If you don't start well against them they can cause you real threats.
"I think if we can start bright and put pressure on them early doors and frustrate the crowd we can only see it as a real positive."
